Our Smart Automated Pharmacy System (SAPS) won the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2023

We are proud to announce that our Smart Automated Pharmacy System (SAPS) won the Silver Award in the Smart Living {Smart Healthcare} category at The Hong Kong ICT Awards for 2023.

SAPS utilises RFID and IoT technologies to automate pharmacy operations and seamlessly integrate them from drug collection to patient check-out. Associating drugs with "baskets" assigned in the desired sequencing per prescription allows for automated sorting at scale. It can be done in one unified system without hardware modification. It also can greatly reduce human error, increase staff productivity and shorten patient waiting times. 
 
The judging panel for the award which was made of renowned leaders and professionals from academic institutions, business and government sectors, commented that our solution had been cleverly designed to streamline pharmacy operations and deliver greater accuracy, reliability, and convenience. SAPS has already been implemented with a solid success case, and they believe that this pioneering solution is scalable enough to make impactful changes for pharmacy operations in hospitals.
 
This is the 3rd time we’ve won a Hong Kong ICT Award, which is acclaimed as the ‘Oscar’ for computers and information technology, so we are clearly on the right track in our search for innovative solutions to different business and social needs.
