Drug Dispensing and Issuing System

An RFID enabled trolley carries assembled drug baskets and transports to the issuing counters. The F1 tray helps pharmacists to double check the correct prescriptions before issuing them to patients.

Features

  • An RFID enabled trolley and basket are deployed to dispense assembled drug baskets to issuing counters
  • The baskets will automatically be loaded with the corresponding prescription number onto the PQDS when the trolley reaches the designated counters. The patients are then called to collect the medications at the counter
  • An F1 RFID tray scanner is installed at each counter. When the patient prescription is scanned, the patient prescription ticket on the corresponding basket will light up, allowing the pharmacist to locate the correct basket
  • Meanwhile, an F1 tray will help the pharmacist to reconfirm the correct prescription before issuing to the patient
